Abstract summary
This method renders objects defined by parametric functions directly on modern GPUs. An adaptive level-of-detail stage subdivides the parameter domain into patches with comparable geometric detail, followed by either hardware tessellation or point-based rasterization. Because the process runs anew for each frame without cached geometry or preprocessing, it also supports animated surfaces while controlling image-space precision.
